Terminating Matin Parr

Terminating Matin Parr Is Tom Pope’s first publication and shares its name with a performance where Pope destroyed 17 photographs created by Martin Parr. The 7-hour 47-minute performance took place on 19th May 2022 at ArtHouse Jersey in front of a live audience and streamed live. Published by Folium, the publication brings together the destroyed images and records of the performance. In addition there is an in-conversation with Alice Maude-Roxby and contribution by Becky Tanner-Rolf.

The book covers are all unique with an intervention by the artist, through a second performance for the book release.
